Anthony Lilley, Chairman, Digital Content Forum, Skillset

 

Anthony Lilley is Managing Director of Magic Lantern Productions, a specialist digital media production and consultancy company.  In addition to strategic consultancy and training, Magic Lantern is active in the production of the full range of new media  products, especially database-driven websites, interactive television, broadband internet and CD-ROM and DVD production.  Established in 1996, the company now works for clients such as Channel 4, BBC, UKTV, Telewest, Discovery Communications, C21 Media, the Film Council, the Arts Council, NESTA, Christian Aid, the DTI, the Department for Education and Skills, the Lord Chancellor’s Department and Snell and Wilcox.  Anthony has experience of television and corporate video production as well as eight years of experience working on the internet.  Previously, he worked in theatre production as a lighting designer, producer and director.

 

Anthony is Chair of the UK Digital Content Forum, Chairman of the Interactive Media Group of PACT (The Producers' Alliance for Cinema and Television), Specialist Advisor to Skillset, a member of the Advisory Board of NESTA FutureLab and chair of the UK government’s Broadband Stakeholder Group Content Working Group.
