Amanda Lacey works as the Student Services Manager for Cisco Systems for EMEA ( Europe Middle East and Africa). She is responsible for all aspects of the student life cycle from recruitment of students to the academies, their experience whilst it the academy and then their transition to the Alumni community and employment. Her primary role at the moment is working with an international team to devise a global

solution 'Career Connection' to facilitate the link between education and employment for all Academy students past and present, which will be launch at the end of 2002.This is a high tech / high touch model which includes on line work experience and job search facilities, ICT industry awareness, and personal development training delivered both other the web and face to face.
